During the past 5 years I have used the Southern Exposure team for weekly Tuesday evening Learn to Surf programs and twice a year for our 3 day Surf Coast Adventure Camps.
I have always appreciated their friendly and helpful service. Mick, Bindy and team have ensured that our students have an enjoyable and valuable learning experience whether it be surfing, kayaking or mountain biking.
The standard of instruction is always high with the right mix of discipline and enthusiasm. The leaders are very good with our students, challenging them within a safe and measured environment. I have found them adaptable and very keen to ensure that the students have an enjoyable learning experience.
It is our intention that we keep using Southern Exposure as a provider for our school.

Belmont High School have used the services offered by Southern Exposure over the past 12 years. Southern Exposure have provided outdoor experiences for a range of classes at school from all levels of Physical Education, Outdoor Education, VET Outdoor Recreation classes and leadership camps.
We have always found Southern Exposure to be highly professional and very approachable, the costs appropriate for the activities and the organization of the programs extremely well planned. Southern Exposure has offered surfing instruction, mountain biking, ocean kayaking and leadership and initiative courses. Furthermore Southern Exposure has also enabled us to hire equipment to run our own camps.
This year in particular, we have also worked very closely with the management of Southern Exposure to work on developing curriculum to meet the competencies of 1st & 2nd Year VET Outdoor Recreation courses. As well as providing the support and resources to facilitate these programs, Southern Exposure has also provided the opportunity for the students in these courses to gain their work placements and work experience.
Finally, in summary, our school has used a number of the Outdoor Recreation providers and prefer Southern Exposure due to their flexibility, personal service and professionalism.
