Surf Coast 100 Course Release
The 2013 Surf Coast 100 course has been released. Although there may be a final tweek this is a taste of things to come. For a sneak peak check out

How long is a lap?
The Surf Coast 100 / 50 course is smack on 25k per lap.

How long will a lap take?
The top end riders should take approx 1 hour 20 – this is just to give you an idea; we will have some independent course reviews shortly from a range of abilities .

Feed Zones
A track side Feed Zone will be set up at the 23k mark to allow riders to re-fuel during each lap. The Feed Zone is Neutral – no passing or high speed allowed.

Team riders will transition at the 25k mark – once they have crossed the timing checkpoint and finish line.


World MT Bike Champ Jason English to Ride the Surf Coast 100

Jason English has confirmed his place in the Surf Coast 100. He has had the event on his radar for a number of years and is looking forward to coming to the Great Ocean Road.

Jason English is the current (2012) World Solo 24 hr Champion (also won it in 2009 and 2010 – there was no woJason English River Crossing webrld champs in 2011).

He is also the 2013 Australian MTB Marathon Champion.

We would like welcome Jason English to the Surf Coast 100.


Maximum Numbers – Surf Coast 100 will be capped at 800 across all categories and distances.


Breakdown – 500 Riders in the 100k marathon, 200 Riders in the 50k half marathon and 100 Riders in the teams 100k.

Interstate and International Riders – Surf Coast 100 is attracting riders from across the continent and as far as Hawaii.

We may be heading to toward the biggest Surf Coast 100 in its 7 year history.
The increase in female competitors and international & interstate riders is evidence that cycling as a lifestyle offers a platform not only to race but to travel with friends, make new friends and gain greater experiences.


Riders Palace Training Camp in Forrest – Craig McCartney Cycling (CMC) will be running a number of high performances training camp in the coming months.
The camp will utilise the epic Otway roads in the Forrest area and they will also hit the Forrest mt bike trails. The first camp has sold out however if you would like to get on board for the next training camp you can email

Run Forrest 2014
Run Forrest will be held on Sunday 8 June 2014.
2013 Competitors will be notified when 2014 entries open.
