EASTER - 3 DAY SURF CAMP

These 2024 intensive surf school classes are open to anyone who wants to take up surfing.
(Ages 8+)

You will learn:

safety techniques,
ocean awareness skills,
surf etiquette
board control to keep yourself and others safe

We take you right through all the important steps so you can gain a strong understanding on how to get up and start surfing

THE PROGRAM

Your 3 half day Surf Camp includes both land-based and water-based components with important skills to prepare you before hitting the waves! This includes stretching, surf etiquette, how to pop up, take-off and dismount, rips and tides, wave height and how to paddle, pop up and catch a wave.
As a 3 Half Day intensive program you start of as a beginner and become confident in your skills to start your surfing journey

Best Surf Location on the Surf Coast & Great Ocean Road

Based on our expert local knowledge we choose the perfect surf spots determined on the day with consideration given to the ever-changing surf environment.

Board & Wetsuit Hire

8’6 Gboard (softboard) and wetsuit hire is included in your lesson, which you can extend to all-day if you would like to continue!

Adults

Get the surfing bug with Southern Exposure. We provide a safe and controlled environment for adults of all ages and abilities to learn to surf.

Children

Surfing is a positive, healthy and incredibly fun activity for kids. Under the supervision of our surf coaches and lifeguards, Southern Exposure is the perfect place for your little ones (aged 8 and up) to start their surfing journey.

We recommend anyone under the age of 8 to have a Parent / Guardian in the water.

Groups

Learning to surf is an awesome activity to do together. Whether you’re organising a school excursion, birthday party or another celebration, we’ve got group learn to surf packages to suit all occasions.
